Bill Belichick Announces Coaching Decision

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is all about team effort and this coaching decision doesn’t even come as a surprise. The Patriots are entering the 2022 NFL season with a different roster and their coaching staff will be different, too. Josh McDaniels is no longer offensive coordinator for the Patriots as he became the new head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. The Patriots has yet to make a decision on the next OC and it looks like Belichick just made one.

According to the Patriots head coach, the Patriots won’t have an offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator in 2022. The team had a few new positions but they won’t have an official OC. The same goes to the defensive coordinator. Belichick did this job for the team in the last couple of seasons.

Bill Belichick didn’t surprise the NFL world with his coaching decision

The Patriots don’t really need these coordinators. They will probably join forces and lead the team to a win. Position coaches will work with their groups and Belichick will make sure everything goes right.

“I’m not big on titles,” he said.

We couldn’t agree more. The Patriots don’t need coordinators to lead their offense and defense. They needs great position coaches who will work perfectly under Belichick.

The NFL world reacted to this announcement and some of these comments are pretty awkward.

“Since the title is up for grabs and no one else will get it, I would like to formally announce that I will be the new Offensive Coordinator for the 2022 New England Patriots season. The spot is officially filled. No one else may claim it,” one fan joked.

Hilarious move by Belichick,” one fan added.

“Hasn’t this happened before? If so, I’m not gonna make a big deal out of this,” one fan added on Twitter.

Belichick and his team didn’t make the big game in 2021. There’s so much to work on and the Patriots have made a few changes to their roster. Mac Jones will be starting quarterback for the team and Belichick will give him plenty of weapons in the offseason.
