Tom Brady Shares Heartfelt Message To Rob Gronkowski After Retirement News

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski won a championship in their first season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the tight end decided to announce his retirement. Gronkowski shocked his fans after the Super Bowl win in 2018. He took his time to make a decision and told Bill Belichick that his time is up. The former Patriots tight end had a lot of fun in his year off and used his free time to party, recover, and… get ready for a Super Bowl run with Brady! Yes, these two did a lot of great things in Tampa Bay.

As you all know, these two are really close. Some even say that Brady signed with the Buccaneers just because they agreed to get Gronk, too. The big man came out of his retirement to join Brady! A true bond!

Tom Brady praises Rob Gronkowski after retirement announcement

The GOAT heard the news about Gronk’s retirement and typed a really nice message for his teammate. They were more than teammates. As Brady used to say, they were more like brothers.

“Teammate, friend, brother, just a few of the words that come to mind when I think of @gronk,” Brady posted on Facebook. “Nobody has ever embodied the idea of ‘leaving it all out on the field’ like Rob has throughout his entire career. Every single snap, I knew that no matter how many people you put in front of him, he was going to get to his spot.

“Even more important is the person he was off the field. Focused when he had to be, and FUN the rest of the time. Having Gronk in your locker room was every NFL players dream. I’m proud of all that we?ve accomplished together, and even more excited for all you have ahead of you. Congrats Gronk, you deserve it.”

Gronk had a brilliant career with the Patriots. He was successful in Tampa Bay, too. NFL players have to retire at some point and Gronk made his decision. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, is not really convinced that his client will stay retired for a long time.
