Cavs’ Kevin Love Went Off About Lakers’ LeBron James

Kevin Love and the Cleveland Cavaliers beat LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers a few days ago. Love and LeBron know each other really well. They played together back in the days, remember?

Love talked to the media following the game. He has nothing but words of praise for the four-time NBA champion, suggesting that LeBron is the GOAT or the second-best player in the NBA.

“He’s arguably top one or two greatest players of all time,” Love said of his former teammate. “Any time you get an opportunity to play against him, that’s always going to be special. I think last year, we got really caught up with him coming home because obviously the crowd is going to be into it. Akron and Cleveland, that’s their hometown hero, always will be.”

Kevin Love praised LeBron James

LeBron has been part of the GOAT debate for quite some time. A lot of people say he is the best player to ever play the game. Of course, there are people who stand with Michael Jordan. What about Love?

Is LeBron the best of the best?

“I have seen it firsthand playing with him,” Love said. “I personally think he is one, but again, that’s up for debate for everybody.”

LeBron won three Finals MVP awards with the teams he played with and also recorded 10,000+ points, 10,000+ rebounds, and 10,000+ career assists. Not bad, huh? The Lakers superstar ranks second in league history in points, sixth in assists, 11th in steals, fifth in triple-doubles, second in player efficiency rating, and fifth in points per game. There’s more. LeBron is the only player to rank top 10 all-time in points and assists.

King James is not chasing titles. He just wants his teams to win. That’s all. His game is sharp and he continues to play at a high level.

“I’m still playing at an extremely high level,” LeBron said on December 6. “I’m not out there to f—- around. What would I do that for? Me and (Tom) Brady. We’re the same people. We out there for championships.”
