Legendary Cornerback, Patriots Super Bowl Champion Headed To Hall Of Fame

The New England Patriots produced a lot of Hall of Famers. Well, Bill Belichick had an opportunity to work with really great players. According to latest reports, a former Patriots cornerback has a chance to join the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It’s a great accomplished for the talented player.

Darrelle Revis is a first-ballot Hall of Famer and it’s official! It’s a great reward for everything he did on the football field.

“For me, it was just surreal,” Revis said. “I think in your mind a lot of thoughts play back, just all the hard work, the hours you put in, the highs, the lows, the failures, the successes, coming from the neighborhood that you come from, just really persevering through things. … It’s amazing, man. I never thought I would be a Hall of Famer. For me, it was about winning and trying to win championships, as many as I could.”

Ty Law shared the big news and yes, they both did wonders in their NFL career. Law respects great players and Revis was one of a kind.

Cornerback legend makes the Hall of Fame for a reason

Revis worked really hard to get here. He is a seven-time Pro Bowler and a four-time All-Pro. He had a great season with the Patriots and ended up winning a Super Bowl.

Revis got a ring in his time with the Patriots, but he can’t forget the tension in the locker room. Patriots players are winners!

“You know, I’m happy for the grind and the hustle of winning Super Bowl 49,” Revis said on the “I AM ATHLETE” podcast. “But you know waking up every day and walking into the facility and having to deal with the tension, you see why they’ve been to 10 Super Bowls. You see the hustle and the grind of it, but at the end of the day, there’s other philosophies to win and it doesn’t have to be that way.

“Nobody likes it in the locker room,” Revis added. “Just being honest, nobody likes it.”
