LeBron James Sends Big Message On D’Angelo Russell After Lakers Overtime Win

The Los Angeles Lakers seem to be heading into the right direction. Players made a mistake in the second game of the season, but they are back in game. LeBron James and his Lakers teammates did wonders on the floor, and yes, D’Angelo Russell was more than brilliant.

According to LeBron, Russell was “huge” in the fourth quarter of the night. D’Lo did his best to take his team to a win and fans celebrated a great success. This fourth-quarter thing was amazing!\

LeBron, D’Angelo Russell and other Lakers players celebrated another big win

Russell understood the assignment and delivered 17 points and 3 assists in 29 minutes of game while doing 7-of-15 from the field and 3-of-8 from beyond the arc. LeBron was brilliant, too. He scored 22 points and 20 rebounds in the game. The king of basketball had a 20-20 game in the playoffs and haters can’t ignore this. LeBron is the GOAT!

“Without D’Lo and that fourth quarter, when the game was kind of stalling out and we couldn’t get a good shot, we couldn’t get a good look, D’Lo hit back-to-back 3s and gave us an opportunity to even put ourself in a position to go to overtime,” LeBron told Chris Haynes of TNT. “So that was huge.”

Jason Richardson is really confident about the current Lakers team. According to him, Austin Reaves is the third player behind LeBron and Anthony Davis. To be honest, Reaves has built a really strong fanbase and yes, he is a real Lakers star…

“Every team has that third option,” Richardson told Christos Tsaltas of SDNA. “And so now when you look at the Lakers, Austin Reaves has become that third option and sometimes he becomes the second or first option because the way he plays the game. He can shoot the ball. He can dribble. He understands the game and he takes a lot of pressure off LeBron and AD. So it’s actually amazing to see the development of how far he has come along. His confidence level is sky-high. Those guys are believing in him. I think he took one of the last shots of the game to seal the game. So that lets you know how good of a player he is.”
