Isaiah Bolden Update: Patriots Release Positive News On Rookie CB

The New England Patriots had high expectations from Isaiah Bolden and now they have an update on the young CB. Bolden suffered a head injury in the preseason game against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday. He had to leave the game and fans got really worried. Will the seventh-round pick miss time in the regular season?

The Patriots delivered a big update on Bolden Sunday morning. Their player spent the night in hospital and didn’t show any signs of severe damage.

Patriots hope to see Bolden back on the field following this update

Bolden is out of the hospital now and he will join his teammates on their way back home. The Patriots also canceled the joint practice with the Tennessee Titans.

“After undergoing a series of evaluations and being held for overnight observations, Patriots cornerback Isaiah Bolden has been released from the Aurora Bay Medical Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he was transported to after sustaining an on-field injury in the fourth quarter of Saturday night’s preseason game between the New England Patriots and the Green Bay Packers.

“Isaiah will travel with the team today. We thank the medical staff at Aurora Bay Medical Center for their overnight evaluations, as well as the Patriots and Packers medical staffs for their immediate on-field response and care in transporting Isaiah to a nearby hospital. Due to the circumstances surrounding the abrupt and unexpected ending to last night’s game, the Patriots will return to Foxborough today. The joint practices that were scheduled with the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday and Wednesday are canceled. The team will train in Foxborough this week and fly to Nashville on Thursday for Friday night’s game.”

Bolden’s head injury shocked players on both teams. He is an excellent competitor, and the Patriots can’t lose him at this point. Of course, health comes first and Bolden has to be 100% before he hits the football field once again.

Belichick took care of the whole situation and Matthew Slater was really proud of his head coach. Well, yes, Belichick is the best head coach in the NFL for a reason.
