Watch Patriots Icon Devin McCourty Light Up New Video Board

The New England Patriots can brag with their 22,000 square feet video board and NFL legend Devin McCourty had the chance to turn it on.

The Patriots made a lot of changes in Foxborough and the video board was one of the improvements they made. They also planned to build a new lighthouse and fan entry area. The video was turned on before Friday’s practice and McCourty had the honor to do it.

McCourty displayed his photo on the massive video board

NFL experts would agree that this video board is the biggest outdoor video board in sport venues in the country, covering 370 by 60-foot surface.

The Patriots legend used the new board Friday and displayed a photo of himself. Classy.

McCourty earned this honor. It is a small reward for everything he accomplished over the years. The former Patriots safety joined the team as their 27th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. He spent 13 seasons with the Patriots and delivered a monster performance every time he made the field.

In his professional career, McCourty recorded 740 solo tackes and 35 interceptions. He won three rings with the Patriots and celebrated many personal accomplishments.

McCourty is still engaged in the Patriot Way

The new season is already here and the Patriots have announced an alternate viewing option for preseason telecasts. Yes, this one includes Devin and his twin brother Jason. “The McCourty TwinCast” is complementing traditional telecasts on WBZ-TV 4 in Boston and the Patriots Preseason Network in New England.

The TwinCast will be streaming on Patriots.com and WBZ.com. It will be broadcast on WSBK TV 38 in Boston.

Devin is really excited about this new project. He would love to watch his former team play. He will do his best to give great insight on Patriots training camp and the new roster.

The twin brothers will be watching games from Jason’s mansion in New Jersey. They will also provide commentary throughout each game.

When it comes to the Patriots, they made some big changes in the offseason and Bill Belichick is all geared up for the new season.
