Rob Gronkowski Has Big Warning For Mac Jones

Mac Jones was heavily criticized following the terrible blowout against the Dallas Cowboys. The New England Patriots suffered a 3-38 loss to their opponent and it was terrible. Players made several mistakes the outcome was a disaster. As if this wasn’t enough, Bill Belichick will have to play the next few games without one of his star contributors. Matthew Judon suffered a biceps tear late in the game and he will miss the next two months or more. Former tight end Rob Gronkowski is more worried about Jones and he even delivered a big warning for the Patriots signal caller.

Jones struggles in his third season with the Patriots and the NFL world is worried. Belichick even benched him for Bailey Zappe in the third quarter of the game. Yes, Belichick said he did this just because he wanted to avoid an injury. It was a lost game and Belichick was well aware of it. Why did he let Judon play then?

Jones to pay more attention to the warning he got from Gronkowski, McCourty

According to Gronk, Jones should be more careful in the next few games. Being bench is not the best thing that can happen to you, right? If the trend continues, Jones will have to waive goodbye to his current role with the Patriots.

“He got benched last year and Bailey Zappe went in. He just got benched three days ago when they faced the Cowboys – that’s strike two ,” Gronkowski said. “If he gets benched again and makes another mistake they were going over throughout the week, that will be strike three and he will officially be out as the quarterback of the New England Patriots.”

Jones is already in hot water for the incidents he got involved in. A lot of players say he plays dirty. Former Patriots star Devin McCourty wants to see him stay out of trouble. Jones has to do a lot of thinking now in order to avoid a big disaster at this point of his career. He had a solid start of his time with the Patriots, but things do not look too good for him right now.
