Bill Belichick Gives Classic BB Response About Patriots’ Starting QB Vs. Giants
The New England Patriots will go against the New York Giants after their bye week. It will be another challenging game for the team. Head coach Bill Belichick received a lot of questions about his starting QB. Well, reporters received a typical Belichick response.
Coach B is a man of a few words, and you can’t get much from him during press conference. Getting a lengthy response is not a common occurrence and if you do get one, you should consider yourself lucky. Yes, we do remember the times when Belichick provided detailed responses to questions related to the Patriots roster or his in-game decision. It didn’t happen on Tuesday.
Belichick has big starting QB strategy
Patriots deal with a serious issue at quarterback as they have yet to find the best option for this position. Belichick has a few players to work with, but neither of them has met expectations. Mac Jones looked like an efficient option at quarterback, but he is having another disappointing season with the team. Belichick benched him in favor of other quarterbacks, but even his backups have failed to perform at a high level.
When asked about his starting quarterback in Week 12, Belichick said, “I’ve told everybody to be ready to go… I’ve told every player to be ready to play.” So, Jones may not start the game against the Giants?

This may be another tactics presented by the Patriots head coach. Belichick may be trying to confuse Giants coaches. They won’t be able to prepare for his quarterback this way.
Bill Belichick used some variation of "everybody needs to be ready/prepared to go" 12 times in his morning presser when asked about the Patriots' starting QB decision.

The Giants will challenge the Patriots and they have already won 8 games. Beating them won’t be easy as their defense is fire. New York looks good this season and keeping them guessing may be the best decision for the Patriots at this point. Belichick can easily switch between his quarterbacks throughout the entire game. He is the GOAT among all coaches, remember? He’s got this one.
