Lakers’ LeBron James, Anthony Davis Injury Updates For NBA Game Vs. Jazz

The Los Angeles Lakers will have another game of the NBA In-Season Tournament and this one puts them against the Utah Jazz. Players are motivated to win this one as well. They have won two straight games and both wins were a piece of cake for the purple and gold. These wins will motivate the Lakers to give their best shot in the upcoming game against the Jazz. There is a major obstacle though. The injury status for Lakers players gave fans a big headache. LeBron James and Anthony Davis have missed time due to an injury in the last few seasons. Will they miss any time this year?

According to recent headlines, LeBron and Davis’ injury statuses may be a reason to worry. Losing them to an injury would be a big blow for the Lakers. LA has a 4-9 record at this point of the season and head coach Darvin Ham hopes to maintain the same dominance throughout the entire season.

Davis deals with left adductor/hip spasm injuries. His health condition is always a reason to be concerned. When healthy, AD is one of the better players in the NBA. However, he missed a big chunk of the last two seasons due to injuries. The Lakers listed him as probably for the upcoming game.

LeBron’s situation is different. He deals with a left calf injury and the Lakers listed him as questionable for the game. It would be great to see him join AD and the rest of the Lakers players on the floor. LeBron and Davis are lethal on the floor and Ham needs them both.

LeBron and Davis to remain dominant despite their injury status

LeBron is having a monster season, averaging 26.4 points per game on 58.6 percent field goal and 39.7 percent three-point shooting. Add an average of 6.5 assists and 8.2 rebounds per game, and you get the perfect recipe for success.

Davis averages 22 points per game while shooting 53% from the field and 30 percent from deep. The big man averages league-high 3.3 blocks per game and averages 11.7 rebounds per game with the Lakers.
