Patriots’ Trent Brown Shares Painful Truth Missing Germany Game

The New England Patriots traveled all the way to Germany to play against the Indianapolis Colts. It was a loss for the team, but something else grabbed everyone’s attention. The Patriots traveled overseas without some of their players. Trent Brown is one of them and he had a good reason to miss the trip to Germany.

Patriots added Brown to their injury report due to his ankle and knee injuries. However, Brown also missed the game due to personal matter. It wasn’t related to the game or the team.

Now we have more details of Brown’s absence. According to his statement, Brown missed the game because he had a death in his family. He would have missed the game anyway.

“I had a death in the family and I wasn’t going to play anyway. That’s what went into it,” Brown told Mark Daniels from MassLive. “Ankle and my knee. The Buffalo [Bills] game, third to last drive, I got rolled up on down on the goal line. That was ankle and knee, MCL. Early on in the Miami, I rolled it, again. I had a high and low ankle sprain. I’m pretty much still dealing with it, but it’s getting better.”

Talented Brown had several reasons to miss the trip to Germany

Brown last played in the game against the Miami Dolphins. He didn’t see any action in the loss to the Washington Commanders due to his injury. He need time to recover and get ready for another game. It wasn’t the ne Patriots played against the Colts.

Patriots had their bye week and Brown had enough time to fix his body. Will he suit up for Week 12 against the New York Giants?

The talented player was spotted on the practice field on Tuesday. We have no information whether he was a limited participant in the session. The Patriot have yet to release their injury report. Brown sure hopes to join his team and help them beat the 3-8 Giants.

Having Brown back would be of great help for the Patriots. Bill Belichick used Conor McDermott as a replacement.
