LeBron James, Anthony Davis Injury Updates Ahead Of Rematch With Victor Wembanyama, Spurs

The Los Angeles Lakers will have a chance to beat the San Antonio Spurs again on Friday. Players had an incredible performance against the Spurs and it was fun to watch Victor Wembanyama have his “welcome to the NBA” moment. Lakers big man Anthony Davis dunked right above him, wishing him a “warm welcome.” When it comes to Davis, he and LeBron are listed as questionable for the upcoming rematch against the Spurs.

It’s a rather challenging situation for the Lakers. They were super hyped to go back to their regular season following the great win in the In-Season Tournament. The Dallas Mavericks had an unpleasant surprise for the team and handed them an unwanted loss. Well, losing the match to the Mavericks motivated AD and Co. to beat the Spurs. Let’s hope for a similar outcome in Friday’s game. It won’t be easy, but let’s hope they understood the assignment.

Lakers need both LeBron and Davis in the game vs Spurs

Mike Trudell from Spectrum SportsNet discussed the latest Lakers injury report and it is really long.

LeBron deals with left calf contusion and AD deals with left adductor/hip spasm. They both carry a status of questionable players. Taurean Prince joins them as he deals with a left knee soreness. Jalen Hood-Schifino is out due to a low back spasm. Maxwell Lewis is also out. Gabe Vincent is still ruled out due to a left knee effusion.

LeBron didn’t see any action in the win over the Spurs due to the same health issue. AD gave fans a big scare in the game, but he didn’t miss any time.

The Lakers look good right now and fans have no reasons to be worried, despite their long injury report. LeBron has missed just two games so far in the season. AD has missed just one game. Both players are listed as questionable for the same reason they missed time early in the season.
