LeBron James’ Former Teammate Doubles Down That NBA Players Don’t Fear Him

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is the best to ever play the game. There’s an ongoing debate about the greatest NBA player of all time and LeBron is definitely winning it. Yes, there are still doubters who claim that Michael Jordan is better than him. That’s not all. LeBron may not really like the comments a former Miami Heat teammate made.

LeBron is one of the better players in the NBA, but fans don’t fear him. That’s what Mario Chalmers claims. He has already made similar comments before and now he is doubling down.

LeBron has yet to react to the comments made by his teammate

Current and former NBA players like to talk how they feared Jordan and late Kobe Bryant. These two were incredibly competitive and aggressive on the basketball court. Chalmers didn’t put LeBron in the same group. He and NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal mentioned the topic during a conversation on The Big Podcast with Shaq.

Shaq reminded everyone that he did fear Jordan back in the days. Other players said the same about the NBA legend. The same goes to Kobe. Why did no one say they fear LeBron?

“So I’ve heard players say, including myself, I feared Mike,” Shaq said. “I’ve heard players in your generation say I feared Kobe. I’ve never really heard any player say they feared LeBron (James).”

Chalmers didn’t really want to talk about this because he “got killed for that.”

After assuring him that he “won’t get killed” on the podcast, Shaq encouraged Chalmers to voice his opinion once again.

“‌When I first said that people killed me for that. I didn’t think players really feared LeBron like they did Jordan. It’s not that you shouldn’t fear Bron, I just think at the end of the day Bron has been through so much that he wanted to be liked.”

They both agreed that LeBron is a nice guy who wanted to be liked. We can most certainly agree that LeBron is a team player who doesn’t take credit for any win. He wants to make everyone better. Did he really want to be liked?
