Stephen A. Smith Makes Major Announcement About LeBron’s Free Agency Decision
LeBron James is in the center of all events, and everybody is just talking about his final decision. The offseason storylines go above and beyond LeBron, and we still don’t know if he will exercise that awesome $35.6 million player alternative.
However, LeBron’s free agency decision is in no way associated with what other marquee free agents do. Stephen A. Smith from ESPN talked about James’ decision, noting that he will announce it “within the first couple of weeks.”
“I would anticipate that he would make it within the first couple of weeks. I’m told no matter what happens his decision is not going to be contingent on what any players do whether Kawhi comes or Paul George comes or anything like that,” Smith said.
This came right after Brian Windhorst said that the Cleveland Cavaliers and Lost Angeles Lakers are in the game. Windhorst believes that LeBron will base his decision on the needs and the will of his family. Should we mention that his family isn’t supporting the idea of him joining the Houston Rockets? Let’s not forget the tension between Chris Paul and the Rockets.
Paul is definitely a reason for James to land in Houston.
We’re still surprised to hear Smith talking about LeBron’s decision. He believes that LeBron’s decision has nothing to do with George’s agency and Leonard’s landing. If LeBron by any chance plays alongside these two, it would probably be with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Big LeBron has tons of options when it comes to making a decision. He came out of an amazing season. LeBron averaged 27.5 points, 9.1 assists, and 8.6 rebounds during his regular season.
LeBron’s decision could change everything in the NBA. The season will take an another direction, and Smith may be right. Let’s wait for the big decision.
