LeBron James is one of the biggest names in the world of sports, and this man is definitely making a career here. The NBA star left Cleveland for something big, and Los Angeles is huge. It seems like Nike has opened the gates again, and this time they’re aiming at another contract.
Nike Vice President of Innovation Tinker Hatfield noted that LeBron James’ contract with the Los Angeles Lakers could lead to another special thing associated with Nike’s shoe line.
In one of his recent interviews, Hatfield said that Nike has a few huge goals for LeBron after his departure from Cleveland.
This news is a huge surprise for sneakerheads, and Hatfield gave a hint. Oh, this will be an awesome deal, and LeBron will make another… explosion?
“I think we’re all excited about the fact that LeBron is really still interested in winning more championships. He’s coming to LA to do that. We’re all excited to participate. If we can help him do that by, first of all, designing a product that helps him play at his highest level, that’s job one. Job two, of course, is how can we leverage his personality moving to LA and kind of build a nice story around that. And then, of course, from that, style can be unique and interesting and it can be what I would call a groundbreaking kind of product,” Hatfield said.
James played four seasons with the Cavs, and flew straight to LA. He was the Cavs’ No.1 overall pick in the 2003 draft, and nothing beats the fact that he’s the most brilliant active star in sports associated with Nike.
LeBron has a signature shoe, and you’re guessing the point… The next release offers Nike LeBron 16. Awesome! Keep up the good job, King James. You’re doing an awesome job.
