August 28, 2018
LeBron James is the ultimate basketball player. Many would say that he’s one of the best players to ever walk on Earth. But, his success isn’t limited on the basketball court only. LeBron is doing a great job in other fields. The Nike’s world tour was a huge success.
King James worked really hard to expand the scope and boost things off the court. You have probably noticed the hashtag #MoreThanAnAthlete. And Nike’s World Tour?
James uses his influence on social media, and his marketing campaigns are well carried through his Uninterrupted network. Shanghai was the first stop for the king of basketball and Nike.
We saw all the fans running after his van, and they also attended the question-and-answer session. The crowd headed to a gym where LeBron offered commentary on pickup basketball games. The NBA star also took part in an impromptu slam dunk contest, and the fans went nuts.
On day 2, LeBron went to the Nike Lab X158 Art Exhibition featuring his work with John Elliott. The two of them released a line of clothing and the gorgeous LeBron James X John Elliott ICON QS sneaker.
Fans could check up on the sneaker and some other additional items from their collaboration, including a bunch of brilliant pieces.
King James spent some time at the Rise of Student Athletes Youth Basketball Clinic, and spoke to young players about discipline. Then, he showed them how things are done on the hardwood. Amazing job!
This was LeBron’s first appearance abroad since his announcement about the new contract. Fans followed every step he made, and that’s how a great star is welcomed. LeBron thanked everybody for their support, and yes, it was more like a promise that he will try even harder this season. Keep up the good job, LeBron James.
