Watch: Tom Brady Shares Powerful Words About Teammate James White

Fans are concerned about the wide receiving corps of the New England Patriots. Julian Edelman will sit out the first month of the season, and James White is probably the only player to help the most.

Chris Hogan will be quarterback Tom Brady’s No.1 receiver for the first month of the season. After him, Phillip Dorsett, Kenny Britt and Cordarrelle Patterson will be the quarterback’s main targets at wide receiver. Brady will also use some of his other great weapons. Rob Gronkowski is the best tight end, and this sure eases the situation. And yes, James White will be here, too.

White was Brady’s target in the game against the Philadelphia Eagles. He had six receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown. White was also the go-to guy on the Patriots’ opening drive with three passes for 19 yards. He picked another 28 yards on three rushes. White’s dominance on the opening drive set up a Hogan touchdown, but Brady was also able to hit him in the end season, too.

“I don’t think you could ask any more of a teammate than what James provides us and the trust that everyone has in him. I feel like he never makes a mistake, and it’s pretty amazing to have that. You know, we’ve had some great sub backs and James is right in the mold of all those other guys – Kevin Faulk and Shane [Vereen] and Danny Woodhead. James has his own way of doing it, but what an incredible play he made on the screen play, amongst many other great plays, and I love playing with him,” Brady said after the big win.

This is no surprise to us. It’s the player who had 14 catches and three touchdowns in the Super Bowl comeback against the Atlanta Falcons two years ago.

Will the Pats win the Super Bowl again?
