Larry Nance Jr. Gives Advice To Former Lakers Teammates About Playing With King James

The Los Angeles Lakers shipped Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. to the Cleveland Cavaliers, and got Channing Frye, Isaiah Thomas, and Moritz Wagner in the exchange.

Larry Nance Jr. played 62 games with LeBron James, and he sure knows a lot about the king of basketball. Ask Larry, and he will tell you everything you should know in case you play in the same team with LeBron. Nance gave tips to his former teammates.

“I’ve talked to them a little bit, I’m still very close with a couple of them. I’ve told them to be at your best because he works so hard that it makes you want to work as hard,” he said.

The Lakers had hard time trading Nance, but the 25-year-old basketball player got the opportunity to play in his hometown and be part of his father’s old team. Nance is viewed as an incentive for the Cavaliers to take on the four-year contract of Jordan Clarkson.

We’re at the beginning of the 2018-19 season, and Brandon Ingram and Ivica Zubac are the only players to remain from the previous Lakers organization. Lakers owner Jeanie Buss praised president of basketball operations Magic Johnson and general manager Rob Pelinka for the excellent job they did in the offseason.

The Los Angeles Lakers are trying to establish themselves as championship contenders after the major rebuilding in the last five seasons. What will happen this season? Many say they have a chance to win a few more games than last season.

The Cleveland Cavaliers were trying to strengthen their roster after the departure of LeBron James. Fans are still questioning the reasons they had to help the Los Angeles Lakers to create their necessary salary cap space for two max-contract slots to get the king and another All-Star player in 2018 NBA free agency.
