Watch: LeBron James Sends Clear Message To His Lakers Teammates

The Los Angeles Lakers had their preseason game to the Denver Nuggets but lost the game. LeBron James had his debut with the Lakers teammates, and opened several topics after the game.

“Yeah, of course you take something from it because we’re been working our habits for the first week, so it’s good to go against a different opponent, instead of each other. We knew it’s gonna be times where we struggle, not moving the ball as we would like to, couple breakdowns defensively. It’s good to have those things that you can work on and you have something to look forward to,” LeBron said on taking away a few things from the preseason game. His LeBron teammates did a really good job.

“We’re just trying to move the ball, share the ball, get the ball from side to side and then just communicating defensively, flying around, gang rebounding. We did give up some offensive rebounds early on in the first quarter that if we clean those up we can get out in transition. But our pace was good and our space was good,” LeBron added.

“I find rhythm with anybody that’s very energetic offensively and that’s a guy who moves without the ball. My first assist was to him, they did some movement on the weak side and I was able to deliver a pass to him,” the king of basketball said of Brandon Ingram.

“It always feels different when you switch uniforms. From wearing a St. Vincent-St. Mary’s jersey to a Cavs jersey. From a Cavs jersey to a Heat jersey, back to a Cavs jersey [and] now being a Laker — it definitely feels different and will take a little time getting used to,” LeBron said of his Lakers uniform.

When asked about the things the Lakers have to change, LeBron said that they have “to get better at everything.”
