Rob Gronkowski Held Out Of Thursday Practice Due To Injury

The New England Patriots keep dealing with injuries, and tight end Rob Gronkowski needs some more time to recover. The team is getting ready to challenge the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, and this is one of the most challenging games in the regular season.

Rob Gronkowski was limited on Wednesday’s practice, and was also held today. The team cited his ankle and back injury on their injury report. Gronk missed the team’s matchup against the Bears, but played against the Buffalo Bills. Maybe his back is sore again or maybe Belichick is just trying to rest him until Gronk recovers completely.

Gronk ended his presser on Wednesday after reporters asked him about his lack of production in the red zone. But, that does not change the fact that he played really well so far. He was able to catch 29 passes for 448 yards and just one touchdown.

The tight end did spoke to media members after Thursday’s practice, so his condition is not that bad.
Nicholas Grigsby, Shaq Mason and Brian Schwenke did not practice on Thursday, too.
