NBA Media Reacts To The Lakers’ 107-106 Win Over the Hawks

The Los Angeles Lakers won their Sunday game at Staples Center, and came away with another win. The Lakers were challenged throughout the game. The team defeated the Hawks, and 107-106 does not sound bad at all.

It is more than clear that Tyson Chandler arrived right on time for the season. He played at a great position with the team, and the Lakers made a great job by signing him.

LeBron James missed two free shots. “Bron missed both. Kuz offensive board. Missed floater. Bron putback dunk. Lakers up one with 15.3 seconds left. Hawks ball.”

Chandler chose the Los Angeles Lakers for a reason. He knew what he was doing. The veteran needed a specific atmosphere for his talent, and the Lakers gave him a great opportunity. He arrived in LA right on time, and the Lakers better use his support.

Of course, the game would not be a typical Lakers game if it was not for all the Kobe Bryant fans who got really angry at LeBron. “Kobe would’ve made it!” one of them said. Well, even the greatest stars can miss a shot or two. It is something that happens in the world of basketball. These people are not machines. Mistakes happen once in a while.

“Lakers steal one 107-106 thanks to a LeBron dunk and a Tyson Chandler block. Probably didn’t deserve to hang onto this one, but if it matters in May, no one will care,” Dan Woike tweeted.

“The Lakers are a touch too excited to beat the (purportedly tanking) Hawks by a point at home … but it certainly was an inspiring block at the buzzer by Tyson Chandler. (Liked seeing Trae Young try to get to the rim FTW, too),” Mark Stein added.

Well, the Lakers defeated the Hawks, and that’s the only thing that matters at the moment.
