Patriots Reveal Tom Brady’s Status In Final Injury Report For Week 12 Game

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was not practicing on Friday with his team as they hit the field after celebrating Thanksgiving. The Patriots have released their injury report, and Brady is on it.

According to the final injury report, Brady was ruled questionable for Sunday’s contest against the New York Jets. He recovers from his knee injury and an illness. This illness is probably the reason Brady was not active on Friday. However, reporters still believe that he will suit up for Sunday’s contest.

Brady was injured in his attempt to catch a pass from receiver Julian Edelman in the game against the Tennessee Titans. He is doing just fine at the moment, but head coach Bill Belichick will not allow him to catch another pass this year.

The Patriots ruled out tight end Dwayne Allen and he will miss a couple of weeks. Tight end Rob Gronkowski is also ruled questionable.

Here is the final injury report:

TE Dwayne Allen (knee) – OUT
QB Tom Brady (knee/illness) – Questionable
DB Nate Ebner (knee) – Questionable
TE Rob Gronkowski (ankle/back) – Questionable
RB Sony Michel (knee) – Questionable

The Jets are playing without their rookie quarterback Sam Darnold as he still recovers from his foot injury. Josh McCown will be their starting quarterback.

“Most recently against us down there and he played well. He can throw, can run, obviously a smart guy. He has a lot of responsibility at the line of scrimmage to make coverage or protection adjustments or check plays. I wouldn’t say it’s a huge part of their offense, but they do do it. I’m sure he would do a good job of whatever they asked him to do. I thought he played well against us in the first game. Threw for – I don’t know, 350 yards – whatever it was, and moved the ball,” Belichick said of McCown.

Here is Jets’ final injury report:

QB Sam Darnold (foot) – OUT
DB Marcus Maye (shoulder/thumb) – Doubtful
OL James Carpenter (shoulder) – Doubtful
LB Brandon Copeland (elbow) – Questionable
WR Robbie Anderson (ankle) – Questionable
