LaVar Ball Releases Bombshell Statement About The Relationship With LeBron James

The father of Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball had an interview recently, and talked about his relationship with LeBron James.

“I really don’t have a relationship with LeBron. I like it. He ain’t done nothing bad to me; I ain’t done nothing bad to him. So, as long as we good, we’ll be all right.”

LaVar said that Luke Walton’s job security is related to the frequency Lonzo plays.

“If he keep playing Lonzo a lot—over 35 minutes—he’ll stick around. Less, he won’t,” he added.

Ball averages 27 minutes per game, and managed to post 8.0 points per game, 5.5 rebounds per game and 4.5 assists per match. He played 34.2 minutes as a rookie, and his minutes took a hit this regular season.

“It seems more likely that Walton’s job status will have more to do with James’ and Magic Johnson’s opinion of how he’s faring as a head coach than Ball’s minutes. The 2018-19 season is, in essence, a training ground for a number of Lakers.”

But, are Ball, Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram the right players to join LeBron on the court? Maybe they are better packed next to a star sidekick. Is Luke Walton doing his job.

“Don’t need no video, it’s all up here. You want to be me back in the heyday? I was a bad mama jama. One-on-one, I’ll bet on myself all day,” LaVar said in one occasion. “I called LeBron to LA. I knew he was coming to L.A., man. Everything lined up for me. Didn’t I tell y’all to call him LA-Bron?”

“Some championships for the Lakers. I’m tellin’ y’all. LeBron got a four-year deal, right? I hope he get four in a row. But if not, I guarantee two when all my boys is on the Lakers with him,”
