LeBron Had His Worst-Ever Game Against The Wizards In Lakers’ Loss

LeBron James has been giving the Wizards a terrible headache for over a decade. Every Wizards fan remembers that LeBron eliminated the team from the playoffs three times, and scored 57 in their building. But, the Wizards defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 128-110, and managed to hold LeBron to 13 points.

Believe it or not, this is LeBron’s lowest scoring total against the team. The king played the Wizards 65 times in the past years. His previous score low against the Wizards was 14 and it happened on February 7, 2004. LeBron was a rookie back then

LeBron played in the Eastern Conference for his 15 NBA seasons, and plays the Wizards four times a year. In his career,LeBron is 30-19 against the team with a 26-9 points per contest average.

King James missed the chance to defeat the Wizards on Sunday. “I have no clue. It seems like every night it’s 40 points here. He makes shots. Last year, here I think he averaged 39.9 points,11.0 assists and 10.0 rebounds. He’s a pretty good player,” head coach Scott Brooks said of their success to shut down LeBron.

“Give a lot of credit to Jeff. Jeff did a great job. It was one game. We know he is how he is. Just gotta tip your hat for us, making him make tough shots and make plays tonight,” guard John Wall said.

“I think we did a good job of making it difficult on James, showing him a lot of bodies, active hands,” guard Bradley Beal said.

LeBron was in check, and the Wizards took advantage. They were able to force 22 total turnovers and this gave Wall a huge opportunity. Wall scored 40 points and had 14 assists. After 16 years of domination, the Wizards managed to shut down LeBron.
