Rob Gronkowski Releases Major Statement About His Retirement Plans

Tight end Rob Gronkowski has been announcing his retirement for quite some time, and suddenly, he decided to play for the New England Patriots in 2018.

Reporters could not ignore the urge to ask Gronk about his retirement. “I haven’t been thinking about that at all,” the tight end replied. “We’re on the last game, going into Week 17. We’ve got the Jets, and that’s all I’m really worried about as of now,” the tight end said.

This comes three days after quarterback Tom Gronkowski went on WEEI saying that he will play in 2019 and beyond.

We remember how Gronk said that he will never play for any quarterback other than Tom Brady. Reporters asked him if he will play as long as Brady does. The tight end sort of sidestepped the question, but promised to give his best to help the team win.

“I haven’t thought about that. We haven’t thought about that. We’ve got this big game Sunday still and the playoffs after, so that’s the last things that are on my mind right now. I love the grind. I’m all in. I’ve been all in all season, no matter if it’s been up (or) it’s been down. And I’m going to tell you this right now: I’m going to be all in for the rest of the year, no matter when it is. That’s just my main focus no matter how it goes.”

If you ask Gronk, he will say that the 2018 was a “roller coaster” for his team. Well, we can say the same for him.

The Patriots are at 10-5 now, and they lost five games for the first time since 2009. But, they are the AFC East winners after all.
