Tyson Chandler Fed Up With LeBron Portrayal In Recent Story

Los Angeles Lakers center Tyson Chandler was not thrilled to see how Bleacher Report’s Ric Bucher portrayed LeBron James. Bucher’s article was enough for some superstars to give their opinion on the king.

Bucher interviews a bunch of players, including former Lakers stars to give the topic some contest. Chandler felt as if his quotes came across negatively, and that was not his intention.

“What I said was, when you have a great player like LeBron, I said I’ve only played with one other player like that, and like Dirk, you have to make it about them because of how talented they are and where they can lead you. And of course all of that wasn’t put in. It was just, ‘When you have a player like LeBron you got to make it about LeBron,’ or something like that. However it read. But that wasn’t the full statement,” Chandler said.

“And I just think I don’t like when negative articles come out like that, even if it’s not about my teammate, but about my teammate, somebody who carries teams the way he does, I just think we’re nitpicking. We’re trying to find something negative about something that’s great instead of just leaving it alone.”

Chandler’s statement offered a lot of contest, and Bucher did not forget to mention that his words were spoken at the very same moment he joined LeBron and the Lakers in November. The full quote offered the best perspective of a veteran’s mind and the sacrifice players make before entering a partnership.

Chandler was one of the many veterans to comment on LeBron. However, everyone was so surprised to see Kevin Durant talking about the king in that way. According to many players, he was just jealous. Is this how jealousy sounds? Maybe his words were twisted, who knows…
