Patriots’ James Develin Had The Best Reason For Missing Wednesday Practice

The team had his practice on Wednesday, but James Develin missed the session.

The good news is that he did not miss the session due to injury. He had some very good news to share with the world, and that’s the reason he had to skip the practice with his team. James Develin was missing from New England’s practice session in order to welcome the new member of the James Develin family.

Develin announced on Instagram that he and his wife were expecting their third child imminently. Develin’s post including a picture of his wife and two boys with a caption that read, in part, “Adding another member to this crew in a few short hours.’’

It’s not the first time a player has been called away from the field due to paternal responsibilities. Defensive Trey Flowers missed a practice in December for the birth of his daughter, and running back Rex Burkhead was also late to a practice in November due to the birth of his son.

Can’t even begin to tell how proud and appreciative I am for all you’ve done for us. We absolutely adore you. NOW LETS GO HAVE THIS BABY!!” Develin expressed his excitement on his instagram profile.

New England never takes opponents for granted, and the players never underestimate other players. The Patriots are one of the best players of the league, and they take football really seriously. That’s why they won their Super Bowls.
