Latest On Patriots Mascot After Jamal Adams Tackle

Jamal Adams is not the favorite football player at the moment. NFL fans are not really happy about his incident with the Patriots mascot.

The Patriots are getting ready for Super Bowl LIII, and did not appear in the Pro Bowl. However, Jets safety Jamal Adams took shot at the Patriots through their mascot.

Adams was signing autographs in Florida, and fans booed at the Patriots mascot. What did Adams do? He ran from 20 yards away and tackled it.

“He [the mascot] was running around and everybody was booing him, so I said, ‘You know what? Let me go tackle him,'” Adams said. “I didn’t hit him that hard, man. All jokes aside, I didn’t hit him that hard. I don’t know what’s really going on, but they did tell me he’s in the hospital. My intention was never to hurt him. it was all about just a joke but I definitely want to check on him and make sure everything is good. At the end of the day we were out here just having fun and it wasn’t nothing intentionally to try to hurt the guy.”

Being tackled by a 213 pound NFL safety is not funny at all, but Adams never meant to hurt the guy.

Jamal Adams does not regret it

“They are not happy with me right now,” Adams added. “The NFL’s calling my phone, blowing me up saying that I put him in the hospital. I’ve got to go check on him and make sure he’s ok, but do I regret it? Noooooo!”

The Patriots mascot had the perfect response. Tweeting “Hate us cause they ain’t us” is the perfect response, right? Well, Adams deserved that. Many say that this tackle was the Jets’ newest low. Let’s hope that Adams will apologize to whoever was under the suit. That person did nothing to be tackled.
