Patriots head coach Bill Belichick tells his players that they should delay the decision making process for at least a month. Dropping a retirement decision right after the Super Bowl is not such a good idea. Gronk does not even think about it.

“I haven’t thought about that,” the tight end said ahead of the playoffs. “We haven’t thought about that. We’ve got this big game Sunday still and the playoffs after, so that’s the last things that are on my mind right now. I love the grind. I’m all in. I’ve been all in all season, no matter if it’s been up (or) it’s been down. And I’m going to tell you this right now: I’m going to be all in for the rest of the year, no matter when it is. That’s just my main focus no matter how it goes.”

Gronk’s mom, Diane, knows what it’s like to grow kids who love sports.

 “It was a lot of work, and it was no sleep,” Diane said. “Because you’re so exhausted, it’s just a blur. Sometimes you forget if you even … ‘Did I take a shower this morning?’ Like you really had to think about it because everything was so fast.

“I remember the first time I was at Gillette Stadium. Rob was just starting out there with the Patriots,” she said. “This girl down in front of me had a jersey on that said Gronkowski on the back of it and I thought ‘Why is she wearing my son’s jersey?’ Well, now you look and there are just millions of them.”
