Tedy Bruschi Sends Heartwarming Message In Support Of Patrick Chung After Surgery

Patriots safety Patrick Chung could not celebrate the Super Bowl win as he finished the game with a broken forearm. Chung was scheduled to have two surgeries in the offseason, and he already had the first. Several teammates expressed their support for the safety. Tedy Bruschi also came forward with a message for Chung.

“It’s not everyday when you’re having lunch and run into a 3X Super Bowl Champ! This guy is a warrior. Congrats, PC! Heal up and enjoy the time with the fam,” Tedy Bruschi wrote on Instagram. He also posted a pic of him and Chung.

Patrick Chung made sure everyone knows he is happy. He addressed the Patriots nation after the surgery, and we also saw the picture of his surgery scar. The Patriots safety earned 23 stitches, but his condition is more than great at the moment. The 2019 season is right around the corner, and Chung is ready for the challenge.

His teammates were worried about the fracture.

“I said to (Matthew) Slater, ‘is it bad?’ He said, ‘I think he broke his arm,'” Jason McCourty said after spotting Chung. “As a defense, we’re on the field, and there is nobody that can replace Pat. It’s not just like he goes down and it’s next person in. He plays safety, he plays linebacker, he plays the most different positions on our defense so when he goes down, it’s an adjustment on what guys can play different roles. Hats off to the staff and us as players for adjusting. Everybody knew that we had to pick up a little bit for Patrick and seeing him come back to the field with a sling on just encouraged us. This was a team win.”

Hopefully, everything will turn fine for Chung and his teammates. New England is ready for the next challenge.
