Michael Jordan Sent Amazing Message To LeBron James For Passing His Record

LeBron James passed Michael Jordan on the NBA’s all-time scoring list in the game against the Denver Nuggets. The Chicago Bulls legend congratulated LeBron on his brilliant achievement.

“I want to congratulate LeBron on achieving another great milestone during his amazing career,” Jordan said.

LeBron passed Jordan’s 32,292 career points in the second quarter of the game. The Los Angeles Lakers lost the game to the Denver Nuggets  115-99 at Staples Center. LeBron finished the game with 31 points, and now has 32,311 in his career.

“A lot of stuff that I have done in my career, this ranks right up there at the top with winning a championship,” LeBron said. “For a kid from Akron, Ohio, that needed inspiration and needed some type of positive influence, MJ was that guy for me. I watched him from afar, wanted to be like MJ, wanted to shoot fadeaways like MJ, wanted to stick my tongue out on dunks like MJ, wanted to wear my sneakers like MJ. I wanted kids to look up to me at some point like MJ.”

“Any time I’m even mentioned with the greats that played this game and guys before me who laid the path, laid the grounds in this work and allowed me to be in this position, it’s always humbling and gratifying for my city,” he said in one of his interviews. “Just knowing where I come from, some of you guys know where I come from that’s been there and some of you guys haven’t, but where I come from, there’s not many of us. It’s very limited. It’s very, very limited inspirations. Very limited resources. Very limited everything. So for me to be in this position where I’m at today, it’s just a blessing.”

Keep up the good job, LeBron, good luck with the next milestone.
