Kevin Durant Releases Groundbreaking Statement About Playoffs Without LeBron

LeBron James will miss the playoffs for the first time since 2005, and there’s just one great thing about it. He will have his summer off, and that’s actually great. The king will have enough time to recover from his groin injury and yes, he hasn’t had a free summer for quite some time. Every player in the NBA knows that the playoffs won’t be the same without LeBron. What does Kevin Durant say about this?

Durant made a huge comment that got us thinking.

LeBron’s former teammate, Kyrie Irving, feels really bad for LeBron and actually understands his current condition.

“I feel for him,” Irving said. “Obviously just missing a lot of time, as well as Brandon Ingram. But Bron as always been a championship contender. An he’s such a great player, such a great teammate. When you’re not eligible to qualify for the playoffs, it’s hard, I can only imagine. Like I said, I feel for him. I feel for him. I really do. I feel for him. I’m very empathetic towards it because how much he wanted to play during that time when he messed up his groin.”

Expers have split opinions about LeBron and the potential arrival of Durant and Irving in LA. These two are commonly mentioned in every Lakers-related rumor. Skip Bayless would go with KD.

“There are two players out there who like to go against the grain, who like to shock the world, who like to go against what social media is telling them to do,” Bayless said. “That is KD and Kyrie. They might just say, on a whim on July 1, ‘you know, let’s go help LeBron win another championship’. KD’s got two houses here, I don’t know if Kyrie has one here… Would that be enough? Yes it would be enough. That’s fire power. Plus it’s addition by subtraction because you’ve got KD out of Golden State. Kevin Durant did say a couple months back, it’s ‘toxic’ around LeBron because of those fan boys in the media who over protect him and you have to live with that day-in and day-out. Would KD subject himself? He doesn’t care, that doesn’t bother him. Yeah, he would do it but would anybody else?”
