Canelo has some really great fans supporting his success. LeBron James and his partner Maverick Carter are definitely members of Canelo’s fan club. They never miss an opportunity to show their support, and this time their favorite boxer got some really awesome kicks.

LeBron’s partner visited Canelo’s training camp in San Diego. Alvares is getting ready for his fight against Daniel Jacobs on May 4. Yes, he didn’t come with empty hands, and LeBron made sure the present came in style. Carter gave Canelo a pair of new LeBron 16 “Martin” shoes. If by any chance you didn’t know it, these are considered some of the most coveted kicks on the market.

“You like sneakers” Carter asked Canelo… “These just came out. Very special.”

Canelo was more than surprised, and send his “thank you” straight to the Lakers star.

LeBron and Carter are producing brand new docuseries on the fight for DAZN called “40 Days.” The premier is on Tuesday night, and it has all the details about Canelo’s preparation for the bout.

The series features his promoter Oscar De La Hoya, and he released a statement on the big project. De La Hoya said, “This is excellent for the sport as it will provide the kind of unique lens that only LeBron James and Maverick Carter can bring. At the same time, there’s no better way for them to start this partnership than by featuring the most important boxing event of the year, so Golden Boy is proud to be a part of it.”

LeBron’s partner confirmed the big news, and we are more than convinced that it will be a huge deal. “These documentaries will shine a light on the 3-dimensional aspect of who these athletes are outside of the ring and empower them to tell their own stories as they prepare for some of the biggest moments in their boxing careers,” Maverick Carter noted in a statement. 

LeBron James and his team will miss the playoffs this year, which gives him enough time to relax and get ready for the upcoming season. The king has a lot of projects on his desk, including Space Jam 2.
