Lakers Fans Convinced LeBron James Is Recruiting Raptors Star At NBA Finals

Kawhi Leonard is taking the Toronto Raptors to the NBA Finals, and the Los Angeles Lakers hope that LeBron James has a plan.

Lakers fans believe that LeBron will get the Ratpors star to town. The Lakers have a new head coach, and Magic Johnson is out of the front office. The dysfunctional team may easily become a championship winning organization.

This offseason is really important for LeBron’s team, and they better land a big name in July. LeBron has already contacted Leonard. He took to his Instagram account to tell everyone that he is going to Toronto.

“When you know you know ‍♂️ Stopped in @rimowa one day on the road in Toronto a few years back and they’ve been by my side ever since. Only right we make it official‼‼ ” James wrote.

According to fans, he is going there to meet with Leonard.

One wrote, “LeBron is in Toronto? Recruitment continues.”

“Bron working his magic once again on Kawhi,” another fan added.

However, ESPN’s Tim Leggier says that Leonard should stay with the Raptors.

“I thought all along he had a great chance to stay,” he said on The Dan Patrick Show.

“To try and figure out a guy who doesn’t really talk, I don’t know how you come up with any sort of indicator on where he’s leaning. Here’s what I thought from the time he got there: This is a city where he’s going to really find himself comfortable. He’s also going to find himself in a comfortable situation from he standpoint that he doesn’t have the media hoard and the intense scrutiny that he’s going to get in a lot of cities in the U.S. where he is now going to have to answer a lot of questions.

“He doesn’t want to deal with that and I think he’s in a good place with a city that loves their team. He’s going to be beloved and revered playing there. They’re going to be good, they’re well coached, but he doesn’t have to deal with a lot of the things he’s going to have deal with like L.A. as the top guy.

“If he goes in the shadow of another player like LeBron, it’s different. He’ll take on all of that responsibility and Kawhi can be very comfortable riding shotgun. It doesn’t seem like that’s what he wants. I think he’s a guy that wants to be at the top of the food chain on his team. Toronto seems like a great team for his personality.”
