Watch: Kyle Kuzma Finds Anthony Davis For Incredible Jam

The Los Angeles Lakers are playing against Pat Riley’s Miami Heat and things got really hot in Orlando. LeBron James and his teammates are doing their best to maintain a strong lead in Game 1 of the series. Pretty much every player on the Lakers roster has shown great performance in the first half of the game, including the young stars. This time third-year forward Kyle Kuzma connected with Anthony Davis for a good jam.

Kuzma has had his ups and downs in the early stages of his NBA career. He had a breakout rookie season, but this was followed by a big struggle. Kyle tried to find his identity on a Lakers team that went through a lot of changes in the past couple of years. LeBron James joined the team and the Lakers paired him with Anthony Davis. Kuzma is one of the few young players who managed to keep their place on the Lakers roster. Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart had to go.

Anthony Davis could use more of this jam

Kuzma’s 3-point percentage fell significantly, and he works on his defense and decision-making. Things took a positive turn in the middle of the 2019-20 season. Kuzma found a way how to affect the game when his jumper isn’t falling. It’s a positive impact.

Although he hasn’t been consistent, Kuzma has had great moments in the game. His future in the NBA world is pretty bright, and Kuzma is grateful for the opportunity LA offers. The young player has a chance to win his first ring, and that’s not something you underestimate.

“Yeah, I mean, I could have been at home enjoying myself right now,” Kuzma said. “That’s the biggest thing for us, to be here obviously, like you said, big trades, having A.D. come here, and decide to put me in the mix to try to win a championship and be a part of a championship team. I’m just very thankful for it. It’s a great opportunity in my young career and I’m just excited.”

Kuzma needs to find better ways to connect with other players and leveling up his performance would be really great.
