Report: LeBron James May Not Be in NBA Finals, But He Is Making An Impact

LeBron James won’t appear in the NBA Finals this year. The Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors are playing, and LeBron’s absence is noticed.

LeBron was a spectator for the first time since the 2010 campaign.

How does it feel? Playing without LeBron?

Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry couldn’t even say his name. “I’ve run into one guy for a while. We were given the opportunity – he left – and we beat a really good team in Milwaukee.”

The Golden State Warriors confronted LeBron James four consecutive times in the NBA Finals.

“It’s weird not playing against him,” Warriors guard Shaun Livingston said. “For so long, he was the hurdle we had to get over. It’s weird being somewhere else other than Cleveland in the Finals.”

“I haven’t thought about it at all to be honest with you,” Charles Barkley, an analyst for TNT. “(But) Kawhi Leonard and Steph Curry, their emergence, that to me says it all. Go back to the beginning of the playoffs. It started with Giannis (Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks), the second round had Kawhi and then you thought Portland had a chance to get to the Finals when Kevin Durant gets hurt. Steph goes crazy. There have been some amazing story lines, and that’s all I’ve been thinking about.”

Missing LeBron in the playoffs was a terrible thing. NBA players aren’t used to that. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver was even convinced that LeBron would come back after his groin strain.

“We’re very happy with where we are,’’ he said. “We miss LeBron. The good news is he’s not gone. He had an (groin) injury, the team struggled and my sense is he’ll be back in top form next season.’’

Several players have given an opinion regarding LeBron’s absence. Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and many others say that the playoffs won’t be the same without LeBron James. The same applies to the NBA Finals. It’s such a pity that LeBron doesn’t play in the Finals. Players miss the challenge he brings, and everyone knows that he dominates the floor.

Remember LeBron’s recent comment? He commented on a photo that says how the Finals won’t be the same without the king?
