Patriots Surprise 200 Deserving Children With Beds in Awesome Tunnel Video

Can you imagine running out of the Patriots tunnel with Ozzy Osbourne’s Crazy Train playing on the loudspeakers? Well, many children dram of this, because the Patriots are their idols. Tom Brady and Bill Belichick turned the team into ultimate game-winners, and they won’t stop now. This dream turned into reality for 200 children, and the Patriots surprised them in the best way possible. It includes beds.

ESPN’s Mike Reiss shared a video on Twitter. If you watch this video, you will see 200 kids having fun at Gillette Stadium. They ran out of the inflatable helmet and right onto the field. Crazy Train was on, of course.

This was just part of the big surprise. The field was covered with new beds, and there were also Patriots-branded comforters, pillowcases and sheets.

“Nice moment at Gillette Stadium: 200 kids surprised with beds,
Reiss wrote. “The Patriots Charitable Foundation and Bob’s Discount Furniture partnered for ‘A Bed for Every Child,’ an initiative of the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless.”

The New England Patriots Charitable Foundation and Bob’s Discount Furniture joined forces to give these kids a decent bed. The initiative was supported by the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless. Their goal is to help children in public school sleep well at night.

“In 2011, our advocates learned that many students in local public schools were not getting a good night’s sleep because they did not have their own bed to sleep in at night,” reads the organization’s website. “The Coalition took action and launched A Bed for Every Child.”

With this move, the foundation has helped families that are on the brink of homelessness to give their kids a decent bed. Sleeping well at night is really important, especially when kids spend most of their day at school. These custom bedspreads are definitely the cherry on top.

On August 16, the Patriots surprised 15,000 military children with backpacks full of school supplies. This surprise was part of their “Operation Backpack.”

These new beds and backpacks will give the kids a solid base to try even harder and turn their dreams into something real.
