Tom Brady Addresses On ‘Difficult’ Situation Surrounding Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown is no longer a Patriot, and some players feel bad for his release. Is Tom Brady one of them?

The Patriots quarterback addressed the situation regarding Brown and his time with the Patriots. His tenure with the team was brought to an end 11 days after signing his contract. Brady appeared on WEEI’s “The Greg Hill Show,” and talked about Brown’s release prior to Sunday’s game.

“I do have a lot of personal feelings, none of which I really care to share. That’s about it. It’s a difficult situation. That’s kinda how I feel,” Brady said.

Brown will probably leave the NFL for good.

“Will not be playing in the @NFL anymore these owners can cancel deals do whatever they want at anytime we will see if the @NFLPA hold them accountable sad they can just void guarantees anytime going on 40m 2 months will see if they pay up!” he wrote on Twitter.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft was his main target. Brown didn’t sort of understand the “double standard.”

“Kraft got caught in the parlor AB speculations fired different strokes different folks clearly,” Brown wrote.

The NFL released a statement following Brown’s release.

“Antonio Brown was released today by the New England Patriots, and is currently an unrestricted free agent,” the NFL’s statement read. “Our office is presently investigating multiple allegations, some of which are subject of pending litigation. We have as yet made no findings regarding these issues. The investigation is ongoing and will be pursued vigorously and expeditiously. As long as Mr. Brown is a free agent, placement on the Commissioner’s exempt list is not appropriate. If he is signed by a club, such placement may be appropriate at any time depending of the investigation. Upon the conclusion of the investigation, he may also be subject to discipline if the investigation finds that he has violated the law or league policies.”

It looks like no NFL team is interested in signing Brown after seeing all the trouble he was involved in. The situation doesn’t look good for the superstar wide receiver. What will happen next? Will the NFL suspend him?
