Patriots’ List Of Players Set To Be Free Agents In 2020

The New England Patriots will have to make a bunch of important decisions this offseason. They will have to play wise with the players who are set to become free agents in 2020. Tom Brady, Devin McCourty and Jamie Collins are some of them.

New England has a long list of players who may become free agents at the end of this season. Yes, these decisions will be really tough for the defending champions. Patriots players are highly sought after when New England wins. The Patriots have won three Super Bowls in five years, and we have every right to believe that these players will be paid a lot in if acquired by other teams.

Tom Brady, Devin McCourty, Cody Kessler, Matthew Slater, Ben Watson, Ted Karras, Marshall Newhouse, Joe Thuney, James Ferentz, Nick Folk, Kyle Van Noy, Jamie Collins, Elandon Roberts, Danny Shelton, Shalique Calhoun, Nate Ebner and Justin Bethel are set to become free agents.

Twelve of these players are starters on offense, defense or special teams. This is a rather big portion of the Patriots’ starters, and most of them will probably play in different team next season. Who is the most important to keep on the team for the 2020 season?

Is there any possibility that Tom Brady plays with a different team by the end of his professional season. TB12 entered his 19th season, and won six Super Bowls. Hopefully, Brady will win his seventh Super Bowl. That’s what the quarterback says. We don’t really believe that Brady will decide to go somewhere else. Can you imagine seeing him sign with a different team? It doesn’t make any sense. Brady can’t just leave the Pats and start fresh with a different team. He is 42, and we are convinced that the Patriots see Brady as a top priority for the upcoming seasons.

Joe Thuney, Kyle Van Noy and Phillip Dorsett are also important for the Patriots, so head coach Bill Belichick better keep them on the roster. Thuney is a veteran on the offensive line, and Ted Karras is expected to see offers that the Patriots can’t match. Karras may go, especially after David Andrews returns with the Pats. Van Noy is a fan favorite, and he is doing a really good work with the Patriots.

The season is really long, and we can’t wait to see what happens next.
