Texans’ Brennan Scarlett Makes Big Admission About Tom Brady Ahead Of Clash Vs. Patriots

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will step on an NFL gridiron on Sunday for the 321st time. TB12 will play the Houston Texans for the 12th time. The Texans have zero chance against Tom Brady, and he does really well against the Texans (10-1). Houston better get ready for the big game, because playing against TB12 is a big challenge. The 42-year-old quarterback is the greatest of all times and he plays his best football. Texans outside linebacker Brennan Scarlett is well aware of the power Brady brings to the field. The Houston defense better get ready to confront the greatest of all times.

Scarlett knows that everybody in the league respects the Patriots quarterback, because he is an excellent quarterback. According to him, Brady is one of the greatest players to play the game. This adds a lot of pressure on the Texans, and they will have to get ready to execute.

So, what makes the quarterback this good? He is 42 after all.

Brennan Scarlett knows Tom Brady

Scarlett explains that in order to be an excellent quarterback, a player has to be “cerebral.” Great quarterbacks have to know what’s going on the field pre-snap and post-snap. He also adds that Brady is one of the best doing it.

“I think everybody in the league respects Tom Brady as a great quarterback,” Scarlett said. “As one of the greatest players to play this game. So, you know, it just puts that much more pressure on us to prepare this week and go out there and execute.

“In order to be that great of a quarterback, you have to be cerebral and you got to know what’s going on the field pre-snap and post-snap. And, I think he’s probably one of the best doing it or that has done it.”

Houston is no stranger to Brady’s ability. Two years ago, Brady led a last-minute comeback to give Deshaun Watson his first defeat as a starter. The next season, New England cruised to a win in the regular season opener.

If the Texans are trying to get a revenge, Scarlett and the rest of the pass-rush will need to step up their game. The Patriots still struggle on the offensive end, and this may be the only problem Brady will have on Sunday. The flu is also here. Eight players missed Wednesday’s practice, and the situation doesn’t look good.

Head coach Bill Belichick is ready for whatever challenge Houston brings to the field. It will be a road game, and hopefully, the Patriots will handle the pressure. Brady still plays his best football. Let’s see what happens on Sunday. It will be a big game for the Patriots nation.
