Patriots Release List Of Inactives For Game Vs. Bengals

The New England Patriots are playing the Cincinnati Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium, and the team has released the list of inactives for their Week 15 game.

The Patriots will confront the Bengals without the following players:

QB Cody Kessler

RB Damien Harris

TE Ryan Izzo

OL Jermaine Eluemunor

OT Korey Cunningham

CB Jason McCourty (groin)

DT Byron Cowart (concussion)

Jarrett Stidham will back up Tom Brady at the quarterback position. This won’t change in the near future, and he Patriots trust their rookie.

New England won’t use Harris who is their 2019 third-round pick. Sony Michel, James White, Rex Burkhead, and Brandon Bolden will carry the load in that part of the game.

Wide receiver Julian Edelman will suit up for the game despite his knee and shoulder injuries. The wideout missed practice Wednesday and was a limited participant on Thursday and Friday.

Ben Watson and Matt LaCosse are playing tight end for the team.

Center Ted Karras missed the game against the Kansas City chiefs du to a knee injury. He got hurt in the game against the Houston Texans but recovered really fast. James Ferentz and Marshall Newhouse will support Karras, Isaiah Wynn, Joe Thuney, Shaq Mason and Marcus Cannon.

McCourty is out for the game, so Stephon Gilmore, JC Jackson, Jonathan Jones, Justin Bethel, and Joejuan Williams are active at the cornerback position. He played just four snaps last week and had a greater sideline role.

New England will play with Lawrence Guy, Adam Butler, and Danny Shelton at defensive tackle. Deatrich Wise will also join the defensive line.

It’s a good game for the Patriots despite their incident with the Bengals. Cincinnati complained of the cameraman New England had near their sideline in Cleveland, and the NFL has opened an investigation into the scandal. This may put the Patriots into a miserable situation, but head coach Bill Belichick says his team has nothing to do with the recording. The NFL is checking out the video material and has yet to make a decision. Will New England be punished for the videotaping? Let’s wait and find out.
