Tom Brady Reacts To Landing On NFL 100 All-Time Team

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was revealed as the second quarterback selected to the NFL 100 All-Time Team. He joined Joe Montana who happens to be his idol.

The names of the final eight quarterbacks will be revealed Friday night during a two-hour special on NFL Network. Brady will appear on this program with Rich Eisen, Cris Collinsworth, and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.

Brady talked about this during his appearance on WEEI’s Greg Hill Show. He said his segment was the first one filmed for the series. The project will recognize the 100 best players from the league’s first 100 seasons.

“It was a fun day,” Brady said. “I was in New York and flew down to the NFL Films studios when they were filming. It was actually the first segment, and we were the first people that were interviewed in the whole thing. It was fun. Cris Collinsworth was there, Rich Eisen, Coach Belichick (and I) got to reminisce a little bit and then had a few other quarterbacks — who I can’t name — come onto the set.

“It was really cool. Very surreal for me to be part of that. It’s an incredible honor. And I know 100 years in the NFL, you can’t just name 100 great players, there are thousands and thousands. To even be considered as one of the greats to play, I would never have imagined that in my life. Very honored and very flattered and very humbled.”

The All-Time Team will also have Randy Moss, Rob Gronkowski, and Adam Vinatieri. Coach Belichick was one of 10 coaches selected for the project.

This was sort of expected. Brady is the best player in the NFL. He is 42, and the best is yet to come. Hopefully, he won’t retire after the season. New England defeated the Buffalo Bills on Saturday, and Brady showed everyone that he is the best. He doesn’t like being called the GOAT, but his success speaks volumes. New England is expected to win the Super Bowl again. We are used to this success, and we can’t wait to see them raise the Lombardi Trophy again.
