New Update Emerges On LeBron’s Injury, Status Vs. Clippers

Are Christmas day games a curse for the Los Angeles Lakers? LeBron James suffered a horrible injury on Christmas Day last season. Is history repeating itself? The king of basketball missed his first game of the season and the team listed him as day-to-day.

LeBron did not take suit up for Sunday’s game against the Denver Nuggets due to a thoracic muscle strain around the ribs and a groin issue as confirmed in a report by per ESPN’s Brian Windshorst. The Lakers superstar was doubtful before the match and had already played through the pain in the previous two games.

The Lakers will confront the Clippers in a highly-anticipated Christmas day game. LeBron’s injury has raised so many questions, and Lakers fans are worried about the game.

ESPN’s Dave McMenamin reported that LeBron will probably be in the starting lineup on Wednesday. He suffered the injury in the game against the Indiana Pacers on Thursday as confirmed by Lakers coach Frank Vogel said. He played injured in that game and against the Milwaukee Bucks. Los Angeles lost games, and fans are worried.

The game is one of four Christmas day games, and it is expected to be a preview of the Western Conference final. Clippers star Kawhi Leonard missed Sunday’s game, and this was part of the team’s load management protocol, so he is expected to play Wednesday.

Los Angeles may also play without Anthony Davis, though, as he hurt his ankle in Sunday’s loss. However, he did return to the floor. The Clippers played without defensive star Patrick Beverley, who recovers from a sore groin. He may also be at the sidelines on Christmas Day.

Lakers fans have started asking questions. Do they have a reason to be worried? LeBron’s injury last season was enough for the team to miss the playoffs, and they can’t risk losing another chance to play the big game. Let’s see what happens by the end of the season. We believe that this injury isn’t too serious for LeBron to miss many games. The Lakers need him and Davis to win the title this season.
