Tom Brady Has Funny Response to Drew Brees Breaking All-Time Passing TD Record

Drew Brees passed Peyton Manning’s all-time passing touchdown record Monday night and made history. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady congratulated him on Twitter. Classy.

“Congrats drew!! Couldn’t be more deserving. Passing Peyton in anything is an incredible achievement and your records will be tough to beat! But it’s worth trying.”

Brady showed a lot of love and respect for his fellow future Hall of Famer. Brees passed Manning’s 539 passing touchdowns. However, he didn’t enter the night in second place behind Manning. Brady sits right behind Manning. The Patriots quarterback has 538 passing touchdowns, and he is ready for the record.

In other words, Brady and Brees may be trading the top spot in the final two games of the regular season. This doesn’t deny the fact that Brees was successful, but his reign may soon come to an end.

Brady is ready to hit Drew Brees’ record

Both Brees and Brady show no signs of slowing down. This back-and-forth game will probably continue in 2020. Of course, they have to come back to compete again. Maybe this particular record will motivate Brady to come back next season. As if he needs motivation.

When it comes to Brady and his return, some believe that the Patriots quarterback will retire after this season. TB12 has bought a new mansion in Connecticut, and he stepped down from his position with Best Buddies. This fueled the rumors about his future plans with the New England Patriots.

Brady doesn’t talk much about his future, and he promised to support Best Buddies. But, his kids are growing and life takes everyone in a different direction. Brady has three children and a wife who sacrificed a lot to support his career. Maybe Brady is trying to return the favor. But, we will have to wait until March to see what happens to his career.

Brady’s contract with the Patriots expires in March. He has three options: stay with the Patriots, sign with a different team and retire. What will Brady choose this time? Will he play another season? Alex Guerrero says he may play until he is 46 or 47. Brady agreed, but he has to stay healthy.
