Lakers Release Statement After Kobe Bryant Death, Link to Help Families of Victims

Kobe Bryant’s death shocked the basketball world. NBA fans can’t believe that the Black Mamba won’t be at the sideline for the rest of the season. Bryant, his daughter Gianna and seven other people died in the tragic helicopter crash outside Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Lakers lost a legend, but the team was really quiet these days. They made a statement on Twitter Wednesday night. This is the first post after the tragedy. Bryant’s Lakers offered help to families of victims.

The Lakers decided to stick to the point. They will organize a more formal tribute by the end of the season.
