Jose Calderon Gives Scary Details On LeBron James Breaking His Hand During 2018 Finals

LeBron James led the Cleveland Cavaliers to the NBA Finals in 2018, but they lost Game 1 of the series. The king was so frustrated that he almost broke his hand after the game. LeBron’s former teammate Jose Calderon has a few details about this.

King James hit the board really hard.

“He just hit the board like he thought it was gonna be a little bit lighter than it was. The board didn’t bend. You could see (his hand) wasn’t right. … You could see in his game, too.”

LeBron couldn’t really cope with the fact that his team lost the opening game against the Golden State Warriors.

The overtime defeat happened as a result of the mistake J.R. Smith made. He didn’t realize the game was tied in the final seconds of regulation.

LeBron scored 51 points, eight rebounds and eight assists in that game. However, this effort wasn’t enough for the Cavaliers to win the game. The king averaged 28.3 points, 10.7 assists and 8.7 rebounds over the final three contests despite his broken hand.

The Finals were a failure

The Cavaliers were smashed, and LeBron left the team in free agency. He signed with the Los Angeles Lakers on the first day of his free agency, and he is in his second season with the team. LeBron’s debut in LA was a failure as he suffered a serious groin injury. This season, everything is better. LeBron is healthy, and the Lakers signed Anthony Davis. LA has the best record in the Western Conference, and they lost just eight games. In other words, they won 33.

The Cavaliers were the eighth team that Calderon had played with. He joined the Detroit Pistons, and brought his career to an end after one season. Calderon has made an announcement in November. At this moment, he is a special assistant to NBPA executive director Michele Roberts.

LeBron is on to a big win now, and he is ready to win a title with the Lakers. He couldn’t win another title in Cleveland, but he can definitely get one with his new team. It’s a long season for every NBA team.
