LeBron Makes Light Of A Reporter Accidentally Calling Him ‘Kobe’ After All-Star Game

The All-Star Game in Chicago was the NBA’s tribute for Kobe Bryant. Numerous athletes paid tribute to the Black Mamba. LeBron James is one of them. He talked about his dear friend. Kobe was a great person, and LeBron knows it best. He can’t get over his death.

Team LeBron wore Gianna’s jersey number, and Team Giannis had Kobe’s number. The NBA changed the name of the All-Star MVP Award. Kawhi Leonard got the honors, so yes, he received the first Kobe Bryant MVP award. This was the best part of the entire game.

Magic Johnson held a speech in honor of Kobe. He talked about their special relationship and Kobe’s success on and off the floor. There were several tributes, one of them comes from LeBron. A media member called him ‘Kobe.’

“I don’t mind being Kobe this weekend,” King James said. “That’s fine. My mom might not like it, but I’m okay with it.” The reporter apologized for the mistake.

LeBron and Kobe were great friends

LeBron tries to overcome the sudden loss of his great friend. He got a Black Mamba tattoo on his leg in honor of the legend.

After the game, LeBron said that he could feel Kobe’s presence that night.

“You could definitely feel Bean’s presence from the start,” he said. “…He was definitely here.”

“He used his game to touch the world’s soul, a king named Kobe Bryant who wore purple and gold.”

For LeBron, this was an incredible game. It was a beautiful day.

“I mean, anything else would be uncivilized,” he said. “He’s one of the greatest basketball players, one of the most impactful players, and the inspiration that he has, it’s showing. How many people not only in the basketball world, but also outside the basketball world, that was touched by a person such as himself.”

“We were able to see Michael Phelps swim,” LeBron said. “We were able to see the women’s national team play a lot of their games. Were able to go around track and field. We did a lot of things besides play basketball.”
