Brett Favre Says He Sees No Decline In Tom Brady, He’s As Good As Ever!

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is 42, and he still plays elite football. Brady will turn 43 in August, and yes, everyone will consider him the GOAT. But, the GOAT will enter free agency for the first time in his 20-year career. During his time with the Patriots, Brady has never been in a similar situation. His contract situation is making headlines these days. Will Brady leave the Patriots at 43? Is there a decline in his performance? Brett Favre hasn’t noticed any decline in Tom Brady.

Favre blames Brady’s teammates for his awful season.

“His game is as good as it’s ever been,” he said. “I saw a quarterback still able to do what he normally does but the cast around him was not up to par. How many times did we see Tom frustrated this year because guys were not on the same page?”

TB12 posted a near career-low 88.0 QB rating in 2019. When was the last time New England left the postseason run at the very beginning?

Favre also said that Brady’s decline wasn’t the reason for this failure at all. He believes that Brady showed the same tools that gave him the GOAT title.

“I didn’t see any decline in his arm strength,” Favre said.

Brett Favre on Tom Brady and his offseason move

Favre also said that Brady may move on from his current team. Favre left the Green Bay Packers at the end of his career. In other words, he has so much to say about Brady and his current situation.

According to Ian Rapoport, Patriots owner Robert Kraft will give Brady $30 million to keep him in New England. This report was busted, and it seems like the Patriots didn’t like it at all. Both sides have yet to reach an agreement. Kraft and head coach Bill Belichick are on the same side when it comes to keeping Brady. Kraft signs the checks, and Belichick has the main word when it comes to making decisions about the team.

This will be one of the longest offseasons for every Patriots fan. Will Tom Brady test the open market? Will he hear offers?
