LaVar Ball Says LeBron James Deserves MVP

Lakers superstar LeBron James is the perfect candidate for the NBA MVP award this season. His Los Angeles Lakers win games thanks to his leadership and triple-doubles. If you ask LaVar Ball, he will say that LeBron should win the MVP award.

During an episode of “Skip and Shannon: Undisputed,” Ball shared his take on the 2020 MVP. He supports LeBron in this one.

“LeBron should be MVP,” Lonzo’s outspoken father said. “Because they ain’t gonna do nothing without him. Take him out the equation, that’s a wrap. You take him out the equation, that’s a wrap.”

The 35-year-old is taking the Lakers to the NBA Finals this season. If LeBron wins the award, this would be his fifth MVP award in his career. The three-time champion is averaging 25.5 points, 10.6 assists and 7.8 boards per game this season.

Thanks to his leadership skills and incredible production, the Lakers sit on top of the Western Conference. They own the second spot in the NBA.

Sadly, LeBron isn’t considered the frontrunner for the great award. Some say that Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo will steal the award again. This wouldn’t be fair. LeBron wasn’t considered a frontrunner when he was playing in the Eastern Conference. He is part of the stronger conference this time, and he still gets the same treatment.

Giannis won the MVP award in 2018-19. He has an incredible season, but this doesn’t put him on top of the league. The 6-foot-11 transcendent player averages 29.6 points, 13.8 rebounds and 58 assists per game. He helped the Bucks get the best record in the NBA. Giannis will make history, but he will have to try really hard to match LeBron’s greatness. Let’s see what happens by the end of the season.

According to most experts, LeBron will get the title this time. Getting the NBA MVP would be even better. Hopefully, he will stay healthy by the end of the season. He plays his best basketball, and aging has nothing on him. LeBron’s performance is sharper than ever and he is ready for another big playoff run. Who is winning?
