Frank Vogel Provides Update On LeBron James’ Sore Groin

Lakers superstar LeBron James struggled with some discomfort in the groin area. However, he decided to play in the game against the Brooklyn Nets. Although he didn’t felt really great, his performance almost helped the team win the game over the Brooklyn Nets. LeBron came just short of laying in what could have been a game-tying shot. His teammate Anthony Davis missed a three-pointer at the buzzer, and the Nets defeated the Lakers at home 104-102.

Defeating the Nets would have helped the Lakers move up on the list. However, it was impossible for the team to close the gap between them and Giannis’ Milkwaukee Bucks. This could also give the team extra cushion over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Both standings would have been good for LA, but now they are in a position where they can lose a trap game. LA also has the chance to rest LeBron. The team clinched a spot in the postseason.

Head coach Frank Vogel didn’t say much about it. However, he did say that the team will play smart with LeBron’s groin injury after Tuesday’s match.

“He had some soreness after the game the other night. We’re going to be cautious with it. Big-picture mindset. But he came in this morning and felt ready to go, so we rolled with it.”

LeBron James’ groin isn’t a problem

In the next few days, LeBron and his team will play the Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz (twice). They had success against all three of those franchises so far. But, we shouldn’t forget that these are still playoff teams. LA will need to win these games if they want to lock up the No. 1 seed. Of course, LeBron shouldn’t play in all of those games. However, if he’s healthy enough, he should see action a few of them.

This is an important season for the Lakers. They are going after a title. Let’s be honest, they have everything they need to win a championship. The only thing they should be focused on at the moment is LeBron’s health. LA needs him on the floor. It’s time for the big game!
